About
A barbershop that takes its time
Kniv & Krone opened on Markveien in 2019 with a simple idea: two chairs, great tools and enough time to do the job properly.

Samuel has been cutting hair for 18 years, from busy salons in the city centre to his own small workshop in Grünerløkka. He missed having time to get to know his clients — and to finish every cut properly.
That’s why we only have two chairs. Shorter queues, a calmer atmosphere, and a barber who actually remembers how you liked it last time.
What we stand for

Time
We never book so tightly that a client feels rushed.
02

Scissors, clippers and razors — sharpened and cleaned after every use.
03

Local suppliers, and coffee from the roastery around the corner.
